  • If you are interested in all things sleep you will not be disappointed by this course. Emily shares so much information in such an accessible way. Her energy and passion for this topic is catching. I am a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and a certified sleep consultant and  I still learnt so much from this course. I now feel so ready and excited to get started. The Collective has given me new ideas and knowledge, it's given me a support network and a mentor in Emily which is so valuable. This course is thorough, interesting and inspiring. Thank you Emily for sharing all of your knowledge and experience with us all.

Emma C., BCBA, Certified Behavioral Sleep Specialist
    Sleep Collective Participant
    United Kingdom

  • Our providers left feeling empowered by Emily's knowledgeable and down-to-earth recommendations. She provided practical information that was rooted in theory but also felt realistic and "doable" for our families. Our providers felt they could actually use her recommendations with their patients; she explained sleep hygiene tactics in an easy manner that felt realistic to the families we serve. Emily’s presentation felt child-centered and focused on the family's needs and abilities.

Dr. Chelsea O'Haire, Licensed Clinical Psychologist
The Center for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders

  • The most common challenges our clients encounter are bedtime/ falling asleep, multiple wakings, and early wake times. Emily presented her strategies and solutions in clear behavior analytical terms, and her ability to keep the attention of our clinicians for two straight hours was well worth the time. I couldn't be more impressed with her ability to pair each of her slides and strategies with everyday life! Our team is now prepared to reduce cancellations, due to the sleep challenges of our clients, and provide a higher level of service.

    Megan Price, BCBA
    Owner, ABA Enhancement, LLC

  • Prior to Emily’s CEU, I had limited knowledge of sleep health and the degree to which certain factors influenced sleep cycles. The information provided by Emily was nothing short of eye-opening. I am now feeling more confident, educated, and prepared to more effectively support families with their child’s sleep. This is the first time I've had so much information presented in such a clear and concise manner; Emily is such a friendly, engaging, and entertaining instructor. This training was powerful, resulting in more than a few “lightbulb moments!” This was, honestly the most helpful training I've attended in years!

    [Updated June 2024]

At Ready Set Sleep, we strive to provide exceptional service to all our clients. However, we understand that occasionally issues may arise, and clients may feel dissatisfied with our products or services. We take client feedback seriously and are committed to addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.

To ensure a fair and transparent process, we have established the following complaints procedure:

    1. Initial Contact:
Clients who are dissatisfied with any aspect of our products or services are encouraged to contact our Customer Service Department as soon as possible. They can reach us via phone or email during business hours or may reach out through our contact form: https://www.readysetsleep.com/contact

    2. Complaint Registration:
Upon receiving a complaint, our team will log the details of the complaint, including the client's name, contact information, nature of the complaint, and any relevant details provided by the client. A unique reference number will be assigned to the complaint for tracking purposes.

    3. Acknowledgment:
We will acknowledge receipt of the complaint within 48 hours of its registration. The acknowledgment will include the reference number assigned to the complaint and an estimated timeframe for resolution.

    4. Investigation:
Once the complaint is acknowledged, our team will conduct a thorough review of the complaint, gather relevant information, and assess the situation to determine the root cause of the issue.

    5. Resolution:
Upon completion of the investigation, we will propose a resolution to the client. This may involve offering a refund, replacement, discount on future purchases, or any other appropriate remedy depending on the nature of the complaint. We will communicate the proposed resolution to the client in writing, along with an explanation of our findings.

    6. Client Feedback:
We value feedback from our clients and encourage them to provide input on the proposed resolution. If the client accepts the proposed resolution, we will proceed with implementing it promptly. 7. Escalation:
If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached at the initial stage, the complaint may be escalated to a higher authority within the company, such as the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). The escalated complaint will undergo further review, and additional steps will be taken to address the client's concerns.

    8. Follow-Up:
Once the complaint is resolved to the client's satisfaction, we will follow up to ensure that the resolution has been implemented effectively and that the client is happy with the outcome. We may also take corrective actions to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future.

  • As a Certified Behavioral Sleep Specialist, you belong to a larger community committed to the science of behavior analysis. Should you choose to utilize the title Certified Behavioral Sleep Specialist© or the acronym CBSS© (as with your BCBA credentials), thereby publicizing your professional credentials as part of your in-person or online descriptors, the following agreement is required:

I acknowledge and understand that social media, online, and in-person platforms are commonly and frequently utilized by myself, consumers, and colleagues for purposes of sleep education, dissemination, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)-specific professional growth, business development, advertising, collaboration, professional networking, and coalescing.

As a Certified Behavioral Sleep Specialist, I acknowledge my representation of this Certification and the field of ABA when I identify myself as such (i.e., publicizing my professional credentials as part of my in-person or online descriptors) in public and in public forums such as social media.

I acknowledge my representation of my Sleep Certification and the field of ABA to consumers, worldwide, who may be seeking more information about sleep services, information, and ABA (e.g., services, ethics, values, systems, methodologies, service providers, etc.) via public presentations and via public forums such as social media.

As a representative of Certified Behavioral Sleep Specialists and the ABA field, I value equality in our field and do not contribute to or proliferate the pervasive cycle of non-behavior-analytical personal commentary on sociopolitical and geopolitical statements, accusations, and the proliferation of false and misinformation disseminated online by popular public figures, personal profiles, or persons representing themselves as members of the ABA field (i.e., publicizing their professional credentials as part of their in-person or online descriptors) in public and in public forums such as social media.

I agree that no individual group, class, or culture is superior to any other individual group, class, or culture and all deserve equal respect and sensitivity when being discussed in public and in public forums, including social media.

I agree to promote a safe and accepting field in person and online for all behavior analysts, students, and consumers.

Therefore, the following Code of Professional Conduct applies:

    1. As behavior analysts we must strive to embody the four foundational principles which state that behavior analysts must benefit others, treat others with compassion, dignity, and respect, behave with integrity, and ensure their competence. These foundational principles remind behavior analysts to do no harm, to protect the welfare and rights of the people and families they work with, and professionals they interact with, to treat others equitably and respectfully, to be culturally responsive and to ensure the safety of others regardless of factors such as age, disability, socio-economic status, ethnicity, race, gender expression/identity, sexuality, immigration status, national/ancestral, familial and cultural origin, religion, political beliefs and affiliations, cultural and spiritual practices and beliefs.

    2. As behavior analysts, we must establish safe and trusting relationships with those we work with (e.g. colleagues, clients, consumers, students, supervisees, supervisors, etc.) and strive to abide by the four foundational principles and ethical codes to guide our approach to working with others. We do not discriminate against others, we do not engage in behavior that is harassing, coercive, punitive, or hostile toward others , we do not engage in or encourage others to engage in illegal behavior, we maintain awareness of our personal biases or challenges that may interfere with how we respond, communicate, and deliver care . We must establish trusting and respectful relationships that support positive, healthy, and safe clinical, educational, and business practices, regardless of culture, religion, ethnicity, and spiritual beliefs.

    3. As behavior analysts, we must strive to abide by the four foundational principles and ethical codes to guide our approach to dissemination of information.

      1. We must present and disseminate information supported by evidence and operationally define terms that are understood by all evidence. When we express our thoughts and opinions, whether they are written or presented in video or audio, they must clearly be identified as opinions.

      2. We must strive to avoid provocative language and subjective “behavior analytic” interpretations or justifications of catastrophic events which may reinforce religious and/or racial bigotry, especially on, but not limited to, social media.

      3. We should engage in respectful discourse.

      4. We should share resources grounded in evidence-based practice to best assist those experiencing trauma.

I stand by my colleagues, students and consumers, as many face unsafe conditions in their personal and professional lives on a global scale. We are united in our mission to help all our colleagues while abiding by the four foundational principles, our ethical codes, and this document to help ensure continuity of services and safe professional experiences for all.

This is a proposed Code of Conduct for Behavior Analysts to promote a culture of safety and wellbeing for colleagues, students, and consumers of behavior analytic services. Formally adopted by Ready Set Sleep, LLC for use by Certified Behavioral Sleep Specialists, December 2023.
